From a Jeweller's Workshop to the Golden Table of the 10th
In 1927, a jeweller's workshop in the Canal district was transformed into a reception hall, its gilded frescoes and lotus friezes paying tribute to the Egyptian discoveries that were then the talk of Paris. Almost a century later, Yasmine Aouad and Julien Fabre, childhood friends with a shared passion for Mediterranean cooking and Parisian heritage, brought this storied address back to life.
Beneath restored mosaics and the soft glow of brass chandeliers, Le Scarabée Doré pairs seasonal cooking inspired by the banks of the Nile and the Mediterranean with the flamboyant elegance of the Jazz Age. Local produce, well-travelled spices and precise technique — every plate tells a journey.
